The Second Dryer (EN-500) is a closed type cylindrical dryer which dries the half product (pellet) with 13% – 14% moisture content under controlled time and temperature condition down to an optimum moisture content of 8% – 10% for frying or roasting. L.P.G. or electric heater can be its available heat source. Standard drying time is between 6 – 12 hours at 60°C – 70°C. It has a 24-hr timer for auto start/stop and auto temperature controller. The 2nd Dryer affects the appearance, expansion and texture of the finished products.
