The First Dryer ED-1600 is a batch-continuous pellet dryer with 3 layers of stainless steel wire mesh conveyors. It is equipped with a set of recirculation  and distribution conveyors to continuously mix the pellets during the drying process. Hot air is provided  by four powerful axial  blowers and heated by steam using a steam coil heat exchanger. Drying   temperature is controlled by a digital temperature  controller  which regulates the steam supply to the heat exchanger. Drying time is about 3-6 hours at  approximately 60°C – 70°C for standard pellets. The  main drive running the SS wire mesh conveyors is inverter-controlled.
